Ariana Grande has not only been extremely busy getting her debut album, Yours, Truly, ready for its September 3rd release, but also getting ready to go on tour! First she'll be joining Justin Bieber on his Believe tour, then starting her own tour, The Listening Sessions, right after!
There's a lot of hard work that goes into prepping for tour, and Ariana recently told MTV News exactly what she's doing to prepare.
"I'm rehearsing a lot. I'm working out a lot, trying to get my lungs, my breath support stronger," Ariana said. "I'm training myself to work with in-ear [monitors], which is new for me because I've never worked with in-ears. I've always liked to sing with my natural ear. I bet you anything you're gonna see me pull my in-ears out every time I'm onstage, but it's OK."
Because of her work with Sam & Cat, Ariana isn't used to singing every single day, but she's getting herself ready for it.
"I'm training my voice to get used to singing every day because I took a long break from singing every single day because I was filming a TV show [Nickelodeon's "Sam & Cat"] so I was sort of not singing as much for a couple weeks," Ariana said. "Lots of vocal rest, lots of tea, lots of getting ready."
Ariana even has some surprises up her sleeve for her tour, saying, "We've been choreographing the whole album, but I'm adding some things that I think my fans will be really happy to see me do. They're surprises. One of them I think they'll scream [when they see it]. I have to bring a prop out for it and I think they'll all be very happy when they see what it is."
