Niall Horan has angered Australian One Direction fans who say that he totally insulted their stadium (and their country)! Though his love life has been making waves recently, his latest controversy is upsetting Directioners who believe he's calling their country "insignificant" and unimportant.

It all started when the star tweeted a photo of a venue in Osaka, calling it a "proper stadium."

Since the band went to Japan directly after Australia on their On the Road Again tour, some fans took it as a major diss. But he insists that he just likes the "sick and futuristic" look of the Japanese stadium, and isn't making fun of the ones in Australia.

We're going to give Nialler the benefit of the doubt. We don't think he was trying to diss anyone! It seems like he just wanted to show how cool he found this new stadium. Since he spends a lot of time in the Southern Hemisphere, and is rumored to be seeing a few girls there, he definitely has nothing against the country — or its stadiums.
