We were shocked when Iggy Azalea postponed her Great Escape Tour, especially because Nick Jonas dropped out, but the "Fancy" singer has reassured her fans that there's nothing seriously wrong. It was just a matter of timing!
"It is my first arena tour, so it’s a big undertaking and I’m doing a lot of the creative direction, which I do for everything…It’s tough when it’s your first time working on an arena situation," she said in an interview on 97.1 AMP Radio.
According to Iggy, there just wasn't enough time to build the sort of complicated setup that she wanted to make for her fans.
“My tour would have been April; we have not started building — that is not 6 months, that is very tight. So to get this stage done in time, I would be making a lot of sacrifices and cuts and changes and compromises would have had to be made to get this thing done in time," she explained.

"And so I really considered what I do I want to do — keep and honor these dates for my fans, but [not have] the show that I envisioned and kind of promised them…Or do I want to move it and have the absolute best show, the show I envisioned. And obviously I’ve chose to move it.”
That makes a lot of sense! We're sure the wait will be worth it. Of course, we're just a little bit devastated that the "Jealous" singer won't be coming along with her, but we'll just have to wait and see who she brings along next.
