Taylor Swift is not performing at the 2015 Grammys! The "Blank Space" singer announced that she'll be attending the event — but only as an audience member.
In a message on her Tumblr, she wrote that she's presenting the award for Best New Artist, and fully expects to be "having a dance party/rage fest in the audience," but won't be on stage performing.
"Since my whole life is wrapped up and entangled in the planning of The 1989 World Tour right now, I'm not going to be performing on the Grammys this year. I need this time to focus only on the tour. I hope I'll see you out there at one of the stadiums this summer having a rage fest of your own!" she said.
While we're obviously disappointed that we won't get another epic rendition of "Blank Space," like she did at the AMAs, we understand that prepping for a world tour takes a lot of work! She just added her BFFs Haim to select tour dates, so there seems to be a lot of changes ahead.
We're still excited to watch Ariana Grande and Ed Sheeran perform — and we're sure Taylor is too.
Are you sad Taylor won't be performing at the Grammys? Do you think her dance moves in the audience will be equally epic? Tell us in the comments!
