A huge congratulations is in order for Gilmore Girls star Jared Padalecki and his wife Genevieve Cortese, who just announced that they are expecting their third child together!
Jared announced the big news while appearing on Live! With Kelly. He said, "When I started the show Supernatural I was 22 years old, I was a single guy, kind of doing my thing. Now I'm 12 years older, I'm a father of two now, about to be a father of three in March."
Aww!
Jared went on to explain how his and Genevieve's love story really began. He said, "The story I tell my friends is that she wouldn't leave me alone. I was like, 'Alright, I'll go on a date with you, fine.'"
But it was really him that couldn't stop thinking about her when she came on set of his hit CW show.
"She came on set and it was season four, which was eight years ago, and I thought she was cute and smart, and she would always read books. And one of my pet peeves is when someone interrupts me when I'm reading…[but] I kept on finding myself interrupting her," he admitted.
"I thought she was awesome, so I asked her out to lunch, and it turned into hanging out talking about traveling, and it turned into dinner."
This is seriously EVERYTHING. We're so excited that these two are not only just as in love as the day they were married in 2010, but that they are expanding their brood. Will their two sons get a new brother or a new sister?? Only time will tell!
