Now that it's September, It's practically Halloween season, which means it's time to break out the scary movies! You've probably seen classics like Halloweentown and Hocus Pocus enough times to recite them by heart, but have you ever wondered what became of the main characters? You'd be surprised to know most of them look totally different now.
Yep, your fave Halloween protagonists are all grown up, but you've already been watching some of them on screen without even realizing it. While celebs like Jimmy Workman, aka Pugsley from The Addams Family, have kept a pretty low profile, others, like Lucas Grabeel from Return to Halloweentown have stayed on our screens and favorite shows. After finishing up his run on Freeform's Switched at Birth earlier this year, he also teamed up with his High School Musical costar Ashley Tisdale to cover their song "What I've Been Looking For" from all those years ago.
Lucas Grabeel isn't the only one reuniting with old costars, though. The original Halloweentown family is also planning on coming together this October at the Spirit of Halloweentown festival in Oregon. There, they're planning to honor Debbie Reynolds, aka Grandma Aggie Cromwell, who passed away IRL late last year.
Stars Kimberly J. Brown, Judith Hoag, and J. Paul Zimmerman, who played Marnie, Gwen, and Dylan, will all be getting back together. Emily Roeske, who played Sophie, is also trying to join them. And if the thought of seeing the Cromwell family reunited doesn't bring that pumpkin-spice-spirit to your Halloween season, well, we don't know what else to tell you. But if you're like us, you're probably seriously psyched and ready to join in the fun. So how can you get ready for such a momentous occasion?
