If you thought Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt's lives couldn't get any crazier, think again. Yesterday, Heidi called the police after her mom, Darlene Egelhoff, went to visit The Hills' star at her Los Angeles home.
"My mom showed up unannounced to my house when she knows I have no interest in seeing or talking with her," Heidi says. "She tore my heart out on national television. She is just trying to create drama in my life."
L.A. police confirmed that they did go to Heidi's home and that her mom wasn't allowed in to see her daughter because legally, Heidi is an adult and did not have to speak to her mother if she didn't want to. No arrests or citations were made.
Heidi also says she told her mother she doesn't want her in her life -- and made it clear. "I'm sick to my stomach she would even do something like this," Heidi says. "She needs to stay away from me. I'm planning on getting a restraining order against her."
Heidi's dad, Bill Montag, is just as worried about Heidi. In fact, her parents talked about how worried they are for Heidi's well-being before her mom headed out to Los Angeles. Mr. Montag says Heidi's mom went out to L.A. to "find out exactly what was happening with our daughter." He says, "Why would they call the police on Heidi's mom? She is not a threat. It makes absolutely no sense. They need to show more respect."
This isn't the first dramatic moment Heidi had with her mom recently -- The Hills cameras were rolling when Heidi went back home to Colorado to show off her new look after her 10 plastic surgery procedures, which were revealed on this season's premiere episode.
Do you think Heidi Montag went too far by calling the police on her mom?
