Cassadee Pope, front-woman of punk-pop band Hey Monday, just announced her first solo acoustic tour, on the heels of confirming Hey Monday's hiatus last month. "I'm so excited to hit the road again and play some of my new songs for the fans!" Cassadee says. "Sharing this journey with them means the world to me."

The tour kicks off January 27 in Anaheim, CA. Cassadee's acoustic set will consist of 10 or 11 songs, a mixture of new and old Hey Monday classics. "It's going to be a really fun time, like a 'Storytellers' kind of thing," Cassadee says. As for her new music's sound? "I want the lyrics to be more edgy and darker than anything on the radio," She explains. "Just doing what I love, the real instruments and guitars but with a real pop twist to it."
