Iggy Azalea revealed on Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday that a team came to her house to check for illegal substances before Britney Spears was allowed to come over for lunch! Yikes!
The 25-year-old told chat show host Andy Cohen about the rather bizzare experience of having the queen of pop over for salad.
The star revealed that Britney’s people were so paranoid with her infamous battle with substance abuse that they went to extraordinary measures to protect her. “They came and checked my place to make sure I wasn't trying to, like, stash anything weird and like give it to her or something,” she said of the 2015 lunch while they promoted their collaboration "Pretty Girls." “I was like, 'It's just salad!'”
Andy in shock clarified what Iggy meant, “Britney had advanced people come and scope out the place” with Iggy responding, “Yeah yeah - to make sure I wasn't a bad influence. And I'm not - I passed the test. So I'm glad she liked it”.
As Andy continued expressing his shock, Iggy stressed, “They were very nice. I was like, ‘I promise, I'm not going to do anything bad - we're just going to have lunch.’"
Wowza that is pretty extreme measures! We wonder how Britney feels about her team doing this?
