Harry Styles is making history as he is set to appear on an hour-long BBC special in November. The former One Direction singer will chat with the host and his really good friend, Nick Grimshaw, about all things celebrity. Hazza will also reportedly perform several of his new songs and rehash some of the craziest moments that happened to him while in the band and now as a solo mega star. Obviously, we’re tuning in, DUH. This is going to be freaking epic.

Nick and Harry will take the stage next week in Manchester where they will record the entire thing. In a statement about the special, Nick said, “Harry is a great performer and full of so many wonderful stories about his extraordinary career, which he’ll be sharing with us, I can’t wait for this show!” Nick isn’t the only one super pumped about this. Bob Shannon – who is the director of BBC Radio and Music – said, “BBC Music is committed to supporting a range of new and established acts, and I’m very happy that we’re able to bring Harry to BBC One this autumn for such a unique show.”

What’s interesting about this whole thing is that Harry is only 23 years old. The fact that he is already having a special about him is an accomplishment in and of itself. It shows just what kind of impact he has made on the world over the past six years. Of course, One Direction broke records and they continue to do so today. It was a new generation of boy bands where social media played a huge role. All five of the boys became celebrities overnight, basically.

We have a feeling that there’s a lot about Harry’s life in 1D and out of it that no one knows about. Hopefully, he’s ready to share some of what has been going on behind the scenes this entire time. Unfortunately, because this is about Harry, there’s a good possibility he won’t be talking much about the other boys’ experiences. But, our fingers are crossed that Harry fills us in on the real journey behind the music.

November, you cannot come soon enough!
