With the release of her new single, "We Can't Stop," Miley Cyrus has been trying to create a whole new image for herself. She wants to stray as far away as possible from the American girl look she sported in the past throughout Hannah Montana and her singles "Party in the USA" and "See You Again" -- in fact, she's embarrassed of how she used to be!
In an interview with Billboard, she said she feels so disconnected from her last album. Now that she's in her 20s, she barely knows the 17-year-old who was singing those songs.
"Right now, when people go to iTunes and listen to my old music, it's so irritating to me because I can't just erase that stuff and start over," said Miley. "I want to start as a new artist. I consider my upcoming album my first, really."
