It's been a couple years now since Perrie Edwards and Zayn Malik ended their engagement and she's just starting to open up about the disaster break up. Not only did she reveal that he dumped her via text message but that she was in the airport uncontrollably crying when everything went down.

Little Mix recently put out a total jam titled "Shout Out to My Ex" which everyone speculated was about the Bradford bad boy. Now, we have confirmation. The girls attended the 2017 BRIT Awards and actually won the British Single of the Year for the track. They were super excited, obviously.

LM got up on stage and actually dedicated the win to their exes. Jade Thirlwall said, "Thank you so much. We honestly didn't think we were gonna get it, we were just sat there chinwagging. We'd like to thank our label Sony, Syco, Simon (Cowell), our amazing A&R, our management, and us girls, because if it wasn't for our friendship, we wouldn't still be going. And lastly cheers to our exes for helping us to do an amazing song, this one's for you lads."

Aww! This win was everything Little Mix needed and because it all started from such a negative place in their lives made it that much sweeter.

But, the talk of exes wasn't over. According to The Sun, the girls did a backstage interview after they accepted the award and Jesy Nelson may have slipped up a bit! Apparently, Jesy said, "Shout out to ZM." Perrie then reportedly stepped in and said, "shut up, stop!" And then she joked and continued, "I'm going to kill you."

OH. MY. GOD. This is the first time that they have publicly confirmed that this track is definitely based and inspired by the "Pillowtalk" singer. Of course, they have alluded to it in the past but this phrase that came out of Jesy's mouth reveals the truth. Without this, it was already pretty obvious that the girls were talking about Zayn in the lyrics. But, good for her for giving Zayn the jab he never wanted.

It just goes to show that Taylor Swift isn't the only pop star to drag her exes in her music and become that much more famous for it!

You go, girls.
