Selena Gomez has had so many awesome opportunities lately, but is she embarassed of where she started? According to Nat Wolff, her Behaving Badly costar, she's definitely not. In fact, she feels really lucky she's had so many awesome opportunities.
Nat and Selena's fame originally came from their tween shows -- Selena on Disney's Wizards of Waverly Place and Nat on Nickelodeon's Naked Brothers Band. Even though they're both starring in a much more mature movie now, they could never be ashamed of their super innocent pasts.
In an interview with MTV News, Nat said he was pumped to work with Selena became he knew her while they were still starring in their first sitcoms.
"I knew her when I was younger, when I was doing 'Naked Brothers Band' and she was doing 'Wizards of Waverly Place.' And we had the same agent, so I would just hear all these stories about her all the time," Nat said. "And I was so excited to get to work with her."
Nat also thinks they have a lot in common, especially when it comes to really appreciating their past experiences.
"I think what's similar with us is a lot of people complain about their shows they have when they're younger, but both of us feel really lucky to have had that experience," Nat said. "We loved doing our shows. We both worked with really close friends. I noticed a lot of similarities between us."
While Miley Cyrus wants to completely erase who she used to be, we're glad Selena is not only excited about what she's doing now, but where she started as well.
