The answer is "yes," but it was totally part of a plan! Late Night host Jimmy Fallon thought it would be hilarious to try out a Twitter experiment with Justin Bieber, and it definitely worked!
We all love retweeting Justin, so Jimmy thought it would be funny for one of his writers, Arthur Meyer, to copy Justin and see how many retweets he could get from saying the same thing.
At the beginning, Arthur didn't do as good, getting only two retweets when he copied Justin's "we work hard" tweet, but when Justin noticed what was going on and retweeted Arthur, everything changed!
Justin was asked if he would turn the tables and copy Arthur's last tweet just to see what would happen, so when he randomly tweeted "frog lawn mower," Justin made it become a worldwide trending topic!
Justin had a blast playing around with the Late Night crew, and even though Arthur's tweets will never beat out Justin's (you know, with his 40 million followers and all!), they all still had a ton of fun in the process.
Did you wonder why Justin was tweeting out such crazy things? Let us know in the comments!
