In honor of Justin Bieber's 17th birthday, the J-14 editors are writing blogs about their favorite Justin Bieber memory. Here is editorial assistant Ashley Spencer's blog:
I was so pumped to go to the Never Say Never 3D premiere in Times Square on February 2. Like any advanced screening, getting to see a movie days before it opens in theaters is a major treat.

But imagine my shock when on the morning of the premiere, Justin Bieber Tweeted that he would be making an appearance at the theater himself! Since he's obviously beyond busy, I expected him to just show up, take a couple red carpet pics, and leave.
But I should never underestimate the Biebs! Not only did he introduce his movie, he sat just a few rows in front of me and watched the whole thing with his mom, grandparents, Scooter Braun, and the rest of his crew!
After laughing, crying, and cheering during Never Say Never, the real highlight came after the lights came on. Justin walked to the front of the theater and personally answered questions from all of his fans sitting in the audience!
When it was over, with a swoosh of his hair, he strolled right past me in his super-cute bow tie and leather jacket. It was all I could do not to reach out and give the boy from Stratford-turned-international-superstar a big hug. Definitely a Justin Bieber experience I'll never forget!
