In honor of Justin Bieber's 17th birthday, the J-14 editors are writing blogs about their favorite Justin Bieber memory. Here is editorial assistant Rachel Sheehan's blog:
Since I first heard "One Time" on the radio, I've been a Justin Bieber fan. All of his tunes were super catchy and I thought he was so adorable. But I can now say hearing Justin on the radio or seeing him on TV just doesn't do him justice.
In November, I went to see Justin at the IZOD center in Secaucus, NJ on his My World tour and I was blown away. Justin puts on such an amazing show. After Jasmine V and Sean Kingston opened, a timer appeared on the screen and the crowd went crazy. After it finished, Justin took the stage. His dance moves were flawless and he had so much energy throughout each and every number.
Then Justin slowed it down and did an acoustic performance of a few songs, proving he can really sing (and he did it while suspended in a heart above the crowd nonetheless). It was just Justin and the guitar and he sounded amazing! That was definitely one of my favorite moments of the show.
From Justin throwing t-shirts to fans, bringing a girl on stage to serenade, and encouraging everyone to sing along, Justin made it clear he adores his fans. Overall, his concert was a blast!
