Leo Howard, star of Disney XD's Kickin' It, stopped by J-14 to give us the inside scoop about what life is really like on the show's set -- and spill some secrets about Kickin' It's next season, which airs April 2. Check it out below and be sure to watch a brand new episode of Kickin' It tonight on Disney XD!
J-14: We've got to know: have there been any crazy pranks on-set? Leo Howard: It wouldn't be a real set without pranks! Water balloons always come into it -- throwing water balloons at other people is always a good prank!
J-14: How about embarrassing moments during filming? Leo: Of course! Almost any week. You feel really weird when you start laughing in a scene and you keep laughing over and over! But it's also hard to embarrass me because everyone there is like my family.
J-14: Are you anything like your character on the show, Jack? Leo: I'm a lot like Jack! We have the same personality -- same sense of humor, very sarcastic. But I want to be as funny as Jack -- he's so funny! Also, we both do martial arts.
J-14: You've always been into martial arts, right? How did you go from that to acting? Leo: Well, I had done a couple of movies that involved martial arts. Then, I got an audition one day for Kickin' It and I saw it and it was a martial arts sitcom. At that time, I'd been doing martial arts for like eight or nine years so I was like, "I have to do this!" It took a few auditions but I got it and I was so excited.
J-14: What are some things we can looking forward to in the new season of Kickin' It? Leo: We had the Harlem Globetrotters on the show and it was a great episode. They're such cool dudes. And there's one episode where we have a journey. We all go on an adventure where we're trying to find this hidden treasure. We go to the beach and I get stung by a jellyfish -- it's a long story!
