Taylor Swift just announced that her fourth studio album, 'Red,' will be released on October 22! She spilled details of the release on a live YouTube web chat in front of a living room full of fans. "I called it 'Red' because of the tumultuous, crazy adventures in love and loss that it chronicles," she says. "In my mind, when you experience love that's fast paced and out of control and mixes infatuation, jealousy, frustration, miscommunication, and all of those lovely emotions...in retrospect, it all looks red."
The album will contain 16 songs, and even though she wrote 2010 album 'Speak Now' on her own, she collaborated with several other artists, producers, and songwriters including "The A Team" singer Ed Sheeran, to create this album.
Taylor took questions from the live audience and from fans online in the worldwide chat. She also debuted her first single off the album called "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and danced in her seat and sang along with the audience. "It's a really romantic song that's to my lovely ex-boyfriend," Taylor said with a smile. Hmm... wonder who this one's about?
