Okay Twi-Hards, it's crunch time -- The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is only one week away from hitting theaters! J-14's been saving tons of Eclipse info straight from the cast, but we're finally ready to spill it all. Every day this week leading up to the premiere, J-14.com will have juicy interviews and behind-the-scenes info just for you.
For the first day of our countdown, J-14 got the dish from Taylor Lautner on what it's like to play everyone's favorite shirtless werewolf. Read on for the scoop!
J-14 Interview: Why Jacob Black Won't Keep His Shirt On
J-14: There is one part in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse where Edward asks why you can't put a shirt on. Was that really in the script?!
Taylor Lautner: [laughs] I believe it actually was in the book. It definitely was in the script. When I read that for the first time, I couldn't wait for Rob to deliver that. It was funny. It was quite obvious. Even the position I'm in. I'm like leaning up against the car with my hands behind me [laughs]. It looks like waiting and flexing for her to come up. Those are the awkward scenes - when everybody is fully clothed, it is raining and I'm just waiting there posing for them.
J-14: Do you have a clause in your contract saying you have to keep your shirt off?
Taylor: No clause. Whatever the book says is most likely what we are going to do. It all comes down to character. If I love the character, I love the story, and the character requires me to be shirtless, or if it requires me to lose thirty pounds, I'm ready to do it.
