Shippers of Jerika – Jake Paul and Erika Costell – are going to be very upset because the Team 10 patriarch was just spotted out on a dinner date with model Joy Corrigan. The pair dined at Catch LA over the weekend yet there's no real proof there is anything romantic going on between them. Jake has been rumored to be dating a lot of girls over the past couple of years including Alissa Violet and Erika, his most recent fling. However, in an interview with The New York Times, he said that the pair were never really dating.
He explained, "We’re not even actually dating. It’s like the WWE. People know that’s fake, and it’s one of the biggest things of entertainment." Not only that but he also addressed the relationship he has with Erika in a vlog titled, 'The Truth About Jerika…' He said, "Basically guys, Jerika is, we're best friends and like we get along, we're always together. I love Erika. She's so awesome, beyond being my best friend she's really attractive so there is a little bit of intimacy and I don't know what to call it. We kind of just go with the flow and I think Erika would tell you the same thing."
So now, we can't help but wonder if Joy is the real deal. One reason that makes us think they might be more than friends is that Joy is not a part of Team 10 which means that Jake doesn't work with her every day. The past two girls that he's been linked to, Alissa and Erika, have been part of his social media incubator. It's possible that he doesn't want to date anyone within the crew because it probably gets complicated living together at such a young age with a group of other boys constantly around your relationship. The continuous pranks probably aren't the healthiest thing for a relationship to be around either.
Who is Joy Corrigan, though? We decided to snoop around on her Instagram for a bit. She has over 500,000 followers but only follows eight other people and Jake is not one of them. LOL. Joy models, travels, hangs out with friends and is just overall gorgeous.
WHOA. We don't know about you, but Joy kind of, actually, looks a lot like Alissa. We literally can't unsee it. After the younger Paul brother seemingly started dating Erika soon after his break up with Alissa, fans didn't think he had a type. Now, we're starting to rethink that. Jake has yet to comment on his little rendezvous dinner date with Joy but we have a feeling something is going to come out sooner rather than later. I mean, come on, we're talking about the guy who shares everything. Fingers crossed this is the start of a brand new Team 10 romance that's going to get everyone talking!
