Jake Paul is standing by his brother Logan, no matter what. In the more than 20 days since Logan uploaded a now-deleted "suicide forest" video on YouTube that showed a man who had apparently died from suicide during the web star's trip to Japan, everyone has had an opinion on the situation. Since then, Logan has faced a ton of backlash over the insensitive video and after writing an apology tweet and releasing an apology video, he's been laying low not posting daily vlogs and the status of his future projects at YouTube remains up in the air. Naturally, everyone was waiting for Jake's response to the whole scandal, since you know, he too is one of the biggest vloggers out there and he's finally shared his thoughts.

Jake took to his channel to share a video he titled, "YouTube, Let’s Talk About Brother Logan Paul.." and it wasn't until the last three minutes when he sat down and spoke to the camera and as he said it was "time to address the elephant in the room." Jake explained he decided to wait to say anything for a reason and while he agrees with literally everyone that what Logan did was 100% wrong, he says his big brother has learned from this massive mistake.

"I wanted to let the situation have some time to breathe. I know Logan was going through a lot and everyone was talking about it and it didn't feel right to comment on it right away. But as his brother and as someone who knows Logan the best, I do feel it's necessary to say something about it," Jake said. "I think what Logan did was very, very, very, wrong, and he made a huge mistake. And not only is he paying for it, but he is learning from it. I think that in no way, shape, or form is suicide a joke or should be made fun of. I don't think it's right what he did, at all. I know Logan more than probably anybody else and I do know though that he did not mean to offend anyone and I can tell when he's in shock and he didn't handle the situation the right way, but I know in the back of his head, he didn't mean to offend or hurt anybody, or create such a big frustration. And he is honestly, truly, truly sorry."

Naturally, Jake is going to stand by his brother since they are family after all, but it's obvious that even Jake, who has been known to push the envelope with the content he creates too, knows this was just wrong on so many levels. He then went on to say he knows this rough patch in Logan's web star career isn't going to hold his brother back and it's only a matter of time until Logan will eventually return.

"I also know how strong of a human being he is so to see him like that, it was sad to me but I think for the Logang and all of his supporters since he is that strong person, he is going to again learn from his mistakes which he has, and be able to bounce back. He's my brother and I love him and brothers always have to have each other's backs," Jake said.

It's kind of hard to imagine what Logan's new and improved vlogs are going to be like if we're honest here. At least, we're hoping he really does learn from this scandal and is taking this time to reflect on how he's going to change up his content style. It's going to take a big shift for Logan to pull off a comeback, that's for sure. But at least he can count on having Jake's support and he always will.
