The Harry Potter series (aka the best collection of books in the history of the world) is 20 years old today. Twenty years has flown by quicker than Harry on his Nimbus 2001 in game of Quidditch.
Twenty years ago, Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone was published and the doors to the magical wizarding world were opened and, let's be honest, our lives have never been the same since.
With 7 Harry Potter books, 8 films, a play and a whole host of spin-offs, it's hard to imagine a time when Harry, Ron Weasely and Hermione Granger weren't running around trying to save the Muggle race from dark magic, tbh.
Earlier this morning the genius behind all things HP and undisputed QUEEN of Twitter took to social media to share an adorable message marking the momentous day.
She wrote, "20 years ago today a world that I had lived in alone was suddenly open to others. It's been wonderful. Thank you. #HarryPotter20"
