Justin Bieber recently had the opportunity to go to Guatemala with Pencils of Promise to help build a school for the children who live there, and it was a life-changing experience for the Heartbreaker superstar — one he feels so lucky to have gotten the opportunity to be part of.
In his video, he said, "Today was probably one of the most magical days of my life. I got to visit a place I didn't really know existed. So many beautiful children, who are very, very less fortunate — I'm talking about 10 people living in a little shack — it was just a wake up call for me."
Justin went on to admit how lucky he's been compared to those he was able to become so close with during his trip.
"It was like any problem I have -- it's nothing. It's nothing at all because these kids have absolutely nothing," Justin said. "They have no food, no water, no education, yet we're stressing over the little things and they're just so happy. I've gotta say, it's selfish — but it's the best selfishness possible, because I'm doing this because it makes me happy. But it's also helping so many other amazing people."
