When you’re a celebrity who’s constantly in the spotlight, getting a moment of privacy can be pretty tough. Justin Bieber understands that struggle all too well, and while he has earned quite the reputation for being rude to fans, it doesn't stop him from speaking out when he thinks supporters are being invasive or disrespectful.

Now, while we do get the frustration that comes with having to deal with a huge fandom, it’s safe to say that most of the time, he ends up offending some of his most loyal fans. In fact, just two days ago, he had a rude encounter with one of his supporters in Sydney, Australia — and fans were not happy about it!

When Justin got upset with his fans for not letting him speak.

While touring in Manchester, England, he was trying to explain the meaning behind his Purpose album title. But when his fans kept screaming, he got frustrated. He actually gave his mic to one of his loudest fans because they wouldn’t keep quiet.

“I thought I could have a moment to say something, but if you guys want I can cut the bullsh-t! I'm trying to engage, but if you guys don't want to, I'll play the music,” he said.

When he arrived two hours late for a concert at the 02 Arena in London, England.

In 2013, there was a lot of backlash from fans over the fact that he left his audience waiting for over two hours. Some kids ended up leaving in tears because they didn’t get to see the singer perform.

“I am sure that Justin Bieber is resting, sleeping and counting his millions with not even a care in the world for the inconvenience caused; the tears of the girls who had to leave even before he came on due to having to get the last trains home; the additional expense of car parking, taxis and the knock-on effect today," the parent of one of his fans said.

When he cancelled all of his fan meet and greets.

He explained that meet and greets left him feeling “drained,” but fans who actually spent thousands to meet the star weren’t happy about the news. As a result, some were forced to choose between getting a full refund and losing their seats, or keeping their spots for the full price they originally paid along with meet and greets.

When he literally told his fans that they suck.

Shortly after he finished his Purpose Tour show in Germany, Justin was spotted casually walking down the street by a couple of fans. However, one of them recorded the whole encounter and Justin actually looked pretty upset when fans approached him. He was then heard saying, “You guys suck.” Yikes!

When he punched one of his fans in the face.

While Justin was riding in a car, a fan approached him and reached into his window, trying to grab his face. The singer responded by throwing a pretty hard punch at the fan’s mouth.

Now, to be fair, the fan did overstep his boundaries by trying to touch Justin without permission. We can see why the whole thing came as a bit of a shock to the singer.

When he insulted a fan because she asked for a selfie.

A fan in Australia recorded herself asking Justin for a selfie. The singer was getting into a car while eating, and judging by his response, he was clearly not in the mood to take pics.

"You have zero respect level. You make me sick,” he told the fan.

When he stormed out of a concert after performing just one song.

Why, you ask? Well, the singer got upset when he tried to clean up a water spill and his fans kept disrupting him.

"Listen to me. Are you listening? Okay, I'm trying to wipe the floor. Give me a second, yo. Guys, never mind. I'm done. I'm not doing the show," he said before he walked off the stage.

He did, however, post a lengthy apology afterwards on Instagram.

When he totally ignored one of his fans after they asked for a picture.

His fan, Keith Casey, once spotted Justin on an outing in Dublin and decided to approach him for a photo. However, Justin ignored him while his bodyguard said he wouldn’t be taking any pictures.

“I’m just in shock. It’s not everyday a normal Irish person sees their idol in a sunbed shop and then they treat them with that attitude. It's just not fair,” the fan said.

When he threatened to delete his Instagram because of how fans were commenting on his photos.

He posted a bunch of pics with his then girlfriend, Sofia Richie on Instagram, but some fans started mentioning Selena in his comments and he got pretty upset, threatening to make his page private. However, fans didn't take his reaction too well. And even his ex, Selena Gomez, decided to step in and defend his fans.

When he told his fans it’s obnoxious when they scream for him.

He paused a concert in Birmingham, England to ask his fans to stop screaming because he felt like he wasn’t being heard.

"Can you guys do me a favor? Can you guys just relax for about two seconds? I get it, I get it, but I’m like two feet away from you. And I can hear you. I appreciate all the love, it’s amazing. But can you show it in a different way? Screaming is just so obnoxious," he said.

When he threw a fan’s gift out of his car window.

A video actually surfaced of Justin tossing a fan’s gift out a car window while he was leaving his hotel in New York. We're sure he wasn't trying to be mean, though. After all, we'd be suspicious too if a stranger tossed something random into our window.

When he slapped a fan’s camera away for trying to record him.

He and his ex Selena Gomez were busy shopping at a 7 Eleven when he noticed a fan was recording the whole thing. He got pretty angry and decided to slap the camera away.

While he definitely had good reason to be upset, we think it could’ve been handled a bit differently.
