It looks like Katy Perry may actually be writing a diss track about Taylor Swift! The "Roar" singer registered a track called "1984" with BMI, a songwriting organization that helps protect artists' copyrights — and it seemingly references the former country singer's latest pop album, 1989.

While this isn't confirmation that Katy is writing a song about her pop star nemesis, it seems pretty likely that she's firing back at Taylor. "1984" references the year that she was born. We've heard rumors that the singer was going to fire back against "Bad Blood," but we didn't actually know if it was going to happen. It seemed like their feud had died down.
The "Firework" singer previously teased that she was going to get her revenge by saying, "If somebody is trying to defame my character, you're going to hear about it." Looks like we're definitely going to be hearing her statement about Taylor in song form!
Do you think Katy will actually be dissing Taylor in her song? Is this feud going to escalate even more? Sound off in the comments!
