Kristen Stewart is forever Twilight's Bella Swan, the rather clumsy girl who fell in love with a vampire named Edward Cullen who she ended up marrying and having a half-vampire, half-human baby with before she herself turned into a vampire. Yes, Forks, Washington was an interesting place in the fictional world author Stephenie Meyer created in her bestselling books that turned into one of the biggest blockbuster film series. So what does she really think about her major role she's had in the series?
Well, Kristen caught up with E! News, who pointed out to the starlet that Nov. 12 marked five years The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn—Part 2 hit theaters, and she admitted she feels nothing but lucky she got to be Bella Swan.
"I didn't realize that it was five years exactly, that's trippy," Kristen said. "Every part that I've ever played has shaped me in such a significant way. I know from an outsider's perspective you might have something to say about that like in general, but I kind of view it as every other thing that I've invested in and really loved. And I'm lucky to have had that experience. I never really look back at my life and go, 'What did that mean?' I got a lot from it and it's made me who I am."
So there we have it: she appreciates her time as Bella and the role really does have importance in her life, like all of her roles do. As you most likely know, Kristen famously dated her co-star Robert Pattinson and while these two didn't last forever together like their fictional selves, there are plenty of members of the cast who have stayed good friends. And there was even a recent a mini Twilight reunion! Nikki Reed and Ashley Greene, who played Rosalie and Alice Cullen, hung out at Elle's 2017 Women in Hollywood event giving us all a sweet hug.
And a stunning pic together, looking oh so happy to be hanging out again.
Vampire sisters forever. Seriously, they look like that haven't aged in the slightest! But it's important to note that umm yes, K. Stew was at this event too, looking all types of fierce. And yet all we got was pictures of her looking fab all by her lonesome.
She straight up avoided this Twilight reunion somehow and tbh, we're a bit bummed about it all. This would've been a MOMENT all fans would've loved to see. Nikki is now a married mom and Ash is happily engaged herself, along with all the girls doing their different projects, so we're sure they would've had plenty to talk about. Perhaps Kristen just didn't see them? Or they did say hi and just didn't snap a pic together? But at least there's one Twilight legend Kristen is always down to spend time with: Taylor Lautner. Yes, Bella and Jacob are still the best of buds and probably always will be. They just hung out at Horror Nights together along with Kristen's girlfriend Stella Maxwell and Tay's long-time friend, Ashley Benson. Did you spot Kristen in the pic Taylor posted on Instagram? Yep, that's her in the back, in-between Taylor and Stella with the poncho on her face.

WILD. While Kristen, Taylor, Robert and all of the cast has cleared moved on to different roles, it's nice to see that overall, they look back fondly on their time being parts of the franchise. As Kristen explained on The Ellen DeGeneres Show back in 2016 when she paid a visit to the talk show host, whenever she looks back on photos from that time, she's immediately transported back to her teenage self who was so invested in these movies.
"I look at those photos and I feel like I’m looking at a college yearbook. It was just after my high school experience would have been, so it feels like just after. I don’t jump right back into those memories, but as soon as you see a picture, you’re like, 'Ooh, god, it’s like yesterday.' It mattered to so many people. Something personal became not the most personal thing, which is awesome, because to share that is great, but then at the same time I was 17 or 18 when it all kind of went down, and that’s the most uncomfortable, terrible, weird — you're 17 and like, Whaaaa! But at the same time, it was good. It kind of forced me to stand at attention in this way," Kristen explained.
See? Overall, Kristen does take seriously the fact that she'll forever be our Bella Swan and if anything, we can all take comfort knowing she and Taylor are besties for life who no problem giving us a little reunion magic every now and then.
