Selena Gomez recently opened up to fans and the world about her very personal health issues. The “Bad Liar” singer underwent a kidney transplant over the summer, which completely changed her life. Sel was given a kidney by her longtime bestie, Francia Raisa and the two shared very touching posts on Instagram about the procedure.

After this revelation, fans and friends from across the world have been applauding the former Wizards of Waverly Place star for sharing her story and raising awareness for Lupus. One star in particular who's been in just complete awe of Sel and her honesty is Lady Gaga – who is currently dealing with her own health issues. The "Million Reasons" singer shared with fans on Instagram a few pictures explaining that her hospitalization was the reason behind canceling her latest performance in Brazil.

After hearing about Selena's story, Gaga couldn't help reach out to the "Fetish" singer. On Twitter, she shared a very sweet and supportive message to her, in which she called Sel both a warrior and an inspiration. The "Just Dance" songstress wrote, “Prayers & love to @selenagomez you are a warrior princess. What an inspiration.”

She’s absolutely right, and Gaga herself is a warrior and inspiration for sharing with the world her battle with Fibromyalgia in a new documentary. Though this isn’t the first time the “Born This Way” singer has shown Selena some love. Back in 2016, the two crossed paths at the American Music Awards, and it was documented on Instagram where Lady Gaga wrote, “So dope I got to hang with with the biggest rockstar of the night. (Ya,know besides Sting and Green Day) …the girl with the biggest prize of all a BIG Heart that she shares with the world.”

The love between these two powerhouses goes way back, and it’s absolutely amazing. Surely, Lady Gaga’s words meant a lot to Selena and we bet she’s sending her some positive vibes too. It’s extremely brave of them both to open up so much about such personal issues, and they’ve certainly raised awareness for the illnesses they’re battling.
