Laura Marano has big news — she just signed a record deal with Big Machine! If that name sounds familiar, it's because it's also the label that launched Taylor Swift's career.
The Austin & Ally actress tweeted that she's going to be the first pop artist signed on the label, which is mostly known for country music acts. (Um, how impressive is that?)
I am more than THRILLED to share I am the first pop artist signed to @BigMachine!! @scottborchetta @DLNUmusic YAY!!!! Woo HOO— Laura Marano (@lauramarano) March 29, 2015

We've loved listening to her sing on the show, so we can't wait to hear her original stuff! Since her costar Ross Lynch makes great music with R5, we can only imagine the amazing songs she'll be releasing.
Are you excited for Laura? Do you think this means she is leaving the Disney family after "Austin & Ally"? Send your congrats to her in the comments!
