Freaky: Liam Payne Believes His Son Bear Payne Talks to Ghosts

Liam Payne is extremely transparent when it comes to sharing with the world what life has been like now that he’s a father. The “Bedroom Floor” singer has opened up about all the different ways his little lad, Bear — who he welcomed into the world with Cheryl Cole last year, has changed his life for the better. Though the former One Direction heartthrob has also been open about all the weird aspects that come with being parent, like having your kid see ghosts.

Yeah, apparently little Bear can see ghost — at least that’s what Payno thinks. In a new interview with Sirius XM on Radio Andy, the singer shared the reason why he thinks his little lad sees spirits, and it’s definitely a head scratcher. He said, “I was lying in bed the other day and he was sitting on my knees. He started giving a speech to no one and was pointing his finger. You do wonder, are there ghosts in the room because kids can see that.”

Now that’s definitely pretty freaking, and totally weird. Aside from being totally weirded out by his son’s supernatural connection, Payno obviously continues to miss him whenever he has to leave for work. But what he’s become most surprised about is how quickly Bear has come to understand what FaceTiming with his dad is. Liam continued to say, “seeing him grow up and seeing how slowly realize what it is, because quote obviously I’ve had to FaceTime for a lot of the time he’s been alive. It’s getting harder to miss him the more I leave home and he’s like a proper person.”

Thanks to technology, Liam can stay up to date with everything that’s happening with this little guy, and obviously that has to be nice but we bet he’d much rather be there in person too to witness every milestone in person.
