Liam Payne has been busy touring the world to promote his debut album as a solo artist. But after a hectic few weeks, the former One Direction star has finally landed back in the UK. His first stop? Home, of course…and he couldn’t be more excited. The "Strip That Down" singer took to Snapchat to tell his fans how thrilled he was to be reuniting with his beautiful girlfriend Cheryl and their baby boy Bear.
"Just landed in Heathrow now back from America,” he told his legions of fans, smiling in the video. "I’m going back home to see my family which I'm very excited about.” Cheryl and Liam welcomed baby Bear to the family in March this year, but have remained tightlipped on the new arrival.
Despite this, the X Factor star has dropped MAJOR hints that the pair have secretly tied the knot. In an interview with Sirius XM, Liam discussed the songwriting process, saying, "To be honest with you I don't know yet what it is like to write while being a father, I have not passed through this experience. I have something that I'm preparing with Timbaland and I was writing with Pharrell when his wife was pregnant, along with my wife for that matter.” Liam also called Chezza his wife in an interview with French website On The Move.
But it seems he just got our hopes up, as he later explained his use of the word ‘wife’ as an “affectionate term." "In the U.K you say 'the Mrs'," he said, adding, "Maybe one day [we'll get married].” We’re waiting with bated breath!
