Liam Payne's dad Geoff Payne is proud of his son, and he's not afraid to show it. But he may have gone a little bit further in his recent interview with The Sun by hinting that Payno is going to be doing great, solo-based things after One Direction.
"I've heard some of his output in the studio and it's quite strong. And I'm being diplomatic there. Over the years I've watched him grow as an artist; watched him learn how to write songs," Geoff said.
"He probably wrote 50 percent of the last two 1D albums and he's already done remixes for other performers. I would hope he’ll take a breather once 1D is done…But knowing Liam, he’ll want to get back into it after a few months.”
However, this isn't really news. Liam has been reaching out to people to work together, and we know that he loves making music. While it's a bit alarming to hear is dad say "once 1D is done," we're pretty sure he just means done with promoting their next album. Right?
