If you thought the One Direction and Zayn Malik drama was officially over – think again.
It's been years, well exactly 2 years, 2 months and 13 days since Zayn made the announcement on March 25, 2015, that he was officially leaving the band. The hearts of fans around the world were completely destroyed. No one understood exactly how the boys would go on as a foursome. Would they still be as successful? What would their new sound actually sound like? There were so many moving parts to the situation that no one really got over it.

It's over two years later and we're STILL talking about it! Just last night Liam Payne made an appearance at the 2016 Glamour Awards to present James Corden with the Glamour Man of the Year Award.
Okay, so yes that all seems quite normal until he actually threw some subtle shade at the "Pillowtalk" singer. Liam said, "What most of you don't know about James, he was actually in a boy band when he was younger. He created one at school. He was 16 years old, he auditioned everybody himself, purely just to make sure he could be the lead singer...The band was called Insatiable which is a word I've never said before up until now. I'm not really sure what it means but we're going to find out. Insatiable, the slogan was, we never had a slogan I'm feeling like if we had a slogan Zayn might have stayed. Nevermind. I'll know for next time."

Yikes. Obviously, Liam was trying to be funny but his joke was kind of exactly what we've all been thinking since that fateful day Z said goodbye to 1D. Was there something that could have been done to prevent Zayn from leaving? Zayn has been very vocal ever since his departure about how he had to be clean cut while in the group and he wanted to be part of musical sounds that have come through on his solo album – not what One Direction was putting out there.
However, now that Liam has put everything into perspective maybe all Zayn really needed was a slogan.
