Slow down, "Slow Hands" is NOT what you expected.

Niall Horan made his debut into the solo world with an acoustic, guitar-assisted single "This Town," and fans totally loved it. The singer has now returned with his second solo song "Slow Hands," releasing in on May 4, and it is completely different than his first track and unlike any of the music the singer put out as a member of One Direction.

The music has matured as much as he has over the years, and there is no denying that based on the lyrics he wrote that he is not the young teen fans first met on The X Factor years ago. He spoke about the feel of the song during an interview with Siriux XM Hits 1 and why he chose the sexy lyrics.

"The whole song was pretty off-the-cuff. I wanted it to be a little bit cheeky with the lyric. We wrote this concept about being in the bar. The first line of the song is 'We should take this back to my place' — usually that's what the guy would say, but we flipped it that the girl would say that, and that's what she said right to my face. With the song, before we even wrote lyrics, we had this big track and it sounded quite sexy. So we thought that this concept would match the vibe of the song, and I think we might have been right," he said.

He sent fans a letter about the song saying: "I’m really proud of it I’ve worked hard at it. The song itself is a little different to the rest of the album but I am heavily the 70's and 80's."

Fans were shocked since Niall is the one member of the group that has has a perpetual "nice guy" persona, while the rest proudly played the bad boy roles and this song totally comes as a surprise to them.

"Fingertips putting on a show/ Got me now and I can't say no/ Wanna be with you all alone/ Take me home, take me home," Niall sings in a raspy voice. Is it hot in here or what?

We totally cannot wait to see Nialler perform this jam live but until then, listen to the song below, and it might just be on repeat for the rest of the day.
