Lorde has been afraid of a particular paparazzo for a while now, and the "Royals" singer is finally telling the world about her alleged stalker, hoping something is done about the matter so she can move on and live her life without her privacy being completely compromised.

Everyone in Hollywood has to deal with cameras in their face basically any time they go out in public, but Lorde isn't a fan of this particular aspect of fame. The star got on Twitter yesterday and accused Simon Runting, a New Zealand-based photographer, of stalking her, even posting a picture of him and a link to his personal Facebook page.
"I am scared of him. This should not be an accepted standard for young women or anyone in this industry," Lorde tweeted. "I refuse to stay complicit and I refuse to stay passive about men systematically subjecting me to extreme fear."
This is the same photographer who took very personal photos of pictures of Rihanna at her hotel last year. Since he was positioned so far away, she had no idea she was even being photographed. Lorde doesn't want the same thing to continue happening to her, so she's taking charge and hoping she's able to stop living in fear before it's too late.
