It’s like every other week; the One Direction boys are dropping some major tunes from each of their solo ventures. Fans have already gotten their fill of Harry Styles and Niall Horan with each of the boys releasing albums, while Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson have been taking the slow and steady route with randomly singles.
Payno may have been the last one to drop a song that's been stuck in our heads, but Tommo is getting ready to bless fans with his follow-up. While performing at Key103 Live, the “Back To You” singer shared a picture on social media about the performance, and managed to squeeze in a little interview where he dished on his plans for the rest of this year, and what will await the fandom in 2018. It should come as no surprise that an album is what Freddie's dad has set his sights on. That’s right! A third solo album from 1D is coming to us all.
Though Louis stayed off the topic of his album, which is still pretty far off in the future, he did open about a new song that could be released in a matter of days or weeks! He said, “It’s pretty busy now. I’ve got a new single coming out soon. Don’t wanna be too specific, but coming soon and I’m real excited about it.”
He continued to say, “But I am real excited about this song. It’s the closest to my heart.” Again, no specifics as to who or what it could be about, but given everything he’s gone through within the last year – it’s not too difficult to narrow down the possible inspirations. So what is the name of this track? It’s reportedly “Miss You,” and Tommo even performed it for lucky audience.
Okay, so aside from being totally jealous of those who got to hear the song first – it looks like it’ll be worth the wait. Then again, when have any of the boys let anyone down when it comes to their music? They keep dropping bop after bop, and we’re totally here for it.
