She's a triple threat and Selena Gomez's mom knew she would be at a very young age. Mandy Teefy, the woman who raised the "Hands to Myself" singer to be the young woman the world knows and loves today, has revealed the exact moment during Selena's childhood that she had a feeling her daughter would be a star.

During an interview with the New York Times, Mandy said that Selena showed the type of work ethic and personality she has today at a very young age. She explained, "She was 6 or 7. I thought I wanted to be an actor. She went to one of my rehearsals with me and sat through the whole thing, not moving."

Mandy continued, "On the way home, she was quiet, and then she goes, 'You know, Mom, that might be funnier if you did it this way.' And I thought, Oh, no. She’s going to be an actor. I’m surprised she actually had friends. She used to make the kids in the neighborhood do casting calls and try to direct them."

Aww!

Selena chimed in and said, "You can hear my voice in the background [on the home movies]. I’m like, 'Move to the left.' 'Say it again.'"

STOP. IT. This is freaking adorable but actually not surprising at all. Selena started acting at a super young age and played a major role on Barney. From there she did a number of projects and eventually landed a huge part on Disney Channel's Wizards of Waverly Place. Of course, we all know that this gal can sing and dance. She has grown up in the spotlight and showed the world that she is not only someone to follow on social media but she really is talented.

It's amazing that Mandy saw this in Selena at such a young age. It's clear that being in the entertainment business was her passion and it's what she's meant to do.

Here's to hoping Mandy continues to reveal little tidbits about Selena and her childhood in the future!
