Miley Cyrus is no stranger to getting tattoos. The singer has quite a few that commemorate not just her beloved pets, but also her love for the special people in her life.
The last person in the “We Can’t Stop,” singer’s life to get a tat dedicated to them was her fiancé Liam Hemsworth. Last summer, Miley debuted the latest ink on her body, which was a jar of vegemite – clearly a tribute to him and their love.
Now another special member of the Cyrus clan has gotten a tattoo dedicated to them. This time it was her father, Billy Ray Cyrus. The country singer just last week had fans wondering if Miley had secretly gotten married after sharing a picture of her in a white dress.
There was no truth to that story, but Billy did share that the “Wrecking Ball,” singer was already back in the studio working on some new music, and of course he also couldn’t help but gush about his daughter’s new tattoo in the process – calling it the best thing he’s ever seen, and it’s no surprise why.
Billy Ray shared a picture of Miley’s new tattoo on Instagram and Twitter. In the image, you can see her foot and on the side the word “dad,” is written. He captioned the picture, “This may be the best tattoo I've ever seen @mileycyrus.”
It’s pretty clear that the singer and her father are close, so this tat isn’t the slightest bit surprising but rather touching.
Needless to say, it’s the perfect way for her to pay tribute to someone who is not only special to her, but near and dear to her heart – and she did it in the most Miley way possible too. One of the many reasons you can’t help but love her!
