It’s no surprise that musicians tend to put everything that’s been going in their lives into their music. That’s pretty much how the best breakup songs are created, and it’s what Miley Cyrus might have done with her new song, “Week Without You.” The former Hannah Montana star is not stranger to putting her love life out there, she and Liam Hemsworth have been more public than ever about their relationship since getting back together. They’re not above some sweet and subtle PDA on social media, that’s for sure.

Of course Miley’s also given the public a glimpse into just how truly happy she is with her relationship with the track “Malibu.” With her new album on the way, fans are speculating that some of the songs will detail everything that led to their breakup and reunion, such as this new song. From the lyrics, fans can see that she’s painting a picture of not being appreciated by her partner. The chorus goes, “I know that I gave you my heart, but you stomped it to the ground. And that’s what’s got me wondering what it’s like to not have you around.”

Yikes! Though that’s not the only hint she gives into feeling very unhappy. Another part of the song reads, “You used to make me smile, but now you don’t do that anymore. It feels like I’m always just crying and sleeping alone, but when I think of you gone I know.” Okay, so this is all so emo and just makes you realize that nothing is truly as it seems.

Luckily, Miley and Liam were able to find their way back to each other so in a sense; spending time apart was essentially great for their relationship. They’re closer and more in love than ever. So obviously, the “Wrecking Ball” singer is no longer wondering what a week without her guy would really be like.
