Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus had their first kiss back in 2009 when they were filming the movie, The Last Song. Fast forward eight years and the pair are completely head over heels for each other. Of course, there have been some bumps in the road but their love story really started during the making of the film. Specifically started with the smooch at the Tybee Island beach in Savannah, Georgia. So, why do we care today? Ummm, because Liam went back to the same beach and it's giving us all the freaking feels, you guys.

And Liam isn't alone. In recent days, Miley has actually joined Liam in Savannah for some fun in the sun. The pair has been spotted riding jet skis, posing for pictures together and going for casual strolls in comfy clothes. They look like a normal AF couple yet the fact that this is all happening where they filmed The Last Song is making things even sweeter. Miley was even caught wearing a Tybee Island sweatshirt which goes to show that she really has a special place in her heart for the location.

The Hunger Games star is actually on set for a movie he's in the process of filming called Killerman. Apparently, Liam is going to play the role of a "money launderer suffering from amnesia after a freak accident during a deal gone wrong." Sounds thrilling but like, we kind of just love that he's back frolicking around the beach with his shirt off, no less.

While Liam and Miley might be taking us back to the couple's puppy love days IRL, the "Malibu" singer won't let shippers forget it in cyberspace either. She posted a photo in July on International Kissing Day of their special moment. The "Wrecking Ball" singer captioned the shot, "Happy #InternationalKissingDay! ??? Our first smooch 8 years ago! ❤️❤️❤️."

What's crazy about the whole thing is that is that this kiss wasn't even written into the script, it just happened. Liam spoke to E! News back in 2010 and said, "I read the script and it just said, 'frolicking on the beach.' So [the director] was yelling things like, 'Splash here! Push her over! Jump on his back!' But then she yelled, 'Kiss him!'" To be honest, THANK GOD she yelled that. Or maybe Liam and Miley would have kissed regardless because you know, ~love~.

He spoke to GQ in 2016 about falling head over heels for Miley on set and not holding back. "I guess when I feel something, then I just feel it and I go for it. I make my decisions about what’s going to make me happy, what I think is right and what I want to do – and I don’t worry too much outside of that." Our hearts are officially fluttering.
