Best friends supporting each other!

Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande are such close friends, so of course, Miley was one of the first celebrities to express their concern over the bombing at her concert in Manchester, England on May 22 that left 22 people dead. Now less than two weeks following the terrorist attack, Miley joined forces with Ariana to perform a benefit concert in the city and all of the proceeds will go to the families of those who were lost or injured in the senseless attack.

The 24-year-old performed two songs, joining the stage with Pharrell Williams to sing their duet "Happy," then she took the stage solo to perform her new song, "Inspired."

Miley also said the reason why she's so close with Ari is because they both believe that it is important to take care of one another and the planet. She said wished that she could give her pal a hug on stage for everything that she's been through, and she spread messages of love — much like the tribute she posted to Ari on Instagram shortly after news of the attacks broke.

"Wishing I could give my friend a great big hug right now… love love love you …. so sorry you had to be apart of such a tragic event!" Miley wrote at the time. "My most sincere condolences to anyone and everyone affected by this horrific attack! All I can do is send as much HOPE [and] PEACE your way! This MUST end! No more war …. no more innocent lives taken …. L-O-V-E."
