It's no secret Camila Cabello grew up as a big One Direction fan, and now Niall Horan is proving himself to be a big supporter of Camila as well. The former Fifth Harmony member was a huge Directioner pre-fame, and they're actually the reason she tried out for The X Factor in the first place.
"I mean, I was like a huge One Direction fan. They were like the reason why I tried out for X Factor," Camila said in an interview with Beats 1 Radio's Zane Lowe. "I cried [when Zayn left], not gonna lie. Because it's the end of an era. It's the end of an era. And obviously, like I literally – you don't understand. I had a twitter account for One Direction. Like I was one of those fangirls at one point."
Now, things have come full circle – because Niall was just singing "Havana" on Instagram Live. It all started when Niall did an Instagram Live while signing a bunch of autographs for fans. Naturally, Camila popped into the live stream and LOST. HER. MIND. The songstress went on a comment spree, writing "OMG," "But it's ok cuz u like my song," "OoOOOOOO THAT HARMONY," "KILLING IT," "Congrats on your album," "I love ur new music," "Ok now I'm gonna leave but not before u do a dance move," and "ok bye Niall ❤️❤️❤️" – just to name a few. Niall even told Camila one of those autographs was for her, and he'd send it her way. Silly Niall, what are we going to do with you?
This is huge, you guys – because even though Harry Styles used to be her favorite, Camila totally switched to Niall as her #1 One Direction bae. Also, it just so happens that Camila falls into the category of Niall's "type" – dark hair and dark eyes. We ship it!

When Young Thug's rapping verse started, Niall made it clear in the live stream that he would've loved to do that part.
"By the way, you should have got me to do this part. I can't believe I was looked past," Niall spilled. "How dare you. I'm very upset about that, actually. I would have been perfect for this. Can I do a rap feature on your next song? Yeah, of course. Have you ever heard me spit bars?"
UMM, WE'RE DEAD. Now that we know Niall and Camila are down for a collab, we need one ASAP. And Niall, it's okay if you don't rap. We just need to hear you two together, please and thanks.
