On Wednesday, Nicki Minaj came under fire after she blocked a fan for asking her to speak about the Orlando shooting at Pulse Nightclub. Unlike other celebrities, Nicki hadn’t mentioned the tragedy and was called out by a fan who was disgusted that Nicki used Twitter to promote her new song on the tragic event.
It all started when Twitter user @jxhnnybxrrios tweeted:
I'm kind of offended that Nicki could tweet about a song but can't acknowledge the shootings in Orlando. :////

He continued:
.@NICKIMINAJ you plan on tweeting about the tragedies that took place this past weekend orrrrrr?

Clearly, Nicki wasn’t happy that she was called out, and blocked him.
LMFAOOOO NICKI UNFOLLOWED ME FOR MY TWEETS.

Nicki unfollowed me because I called her out for promoting her song and not even acknowledging the tragedies. pic.twitter.com/4Vf58qTPxD
