Update: While One Direction will be performing during BBC Music Day in Wales, but they will NOT be a part of the Guiness World Record. That link-up will happen between the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and singers in Patagonia.*
Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne may be hard at work on One Direction's fifth album, but they're also working on another big project — attempting to break a Guinness World Record! The band announced their plans to get recognized for having the biggest distance between people singing a duet.
They will try to do a show in Wales for their On the Road Again tour along with an act in Patagonia. (That's about 7,000 miles away.)

"On BBC Music Day our tour will see us playing in Cardiff's Millennium Stadium. We hope wherever you are you have as much fun as we will! Music brought us together, and every day we love what we do. Get involved, play, sing and have a good time," they said.
They've already broken World Records for their music, but it still sounds like a pretty awesome feat. We just wonder who they're going to pick to perform with them all the way across the world!
