YouTube star PewDiePie is making headlines for yet another controversial reason. His videos have been known to push the limits a bit and now he may have just crossed the line.

Makers Studio, which is a division of Disney, dropped PewDiePie after he created a video featuring anti-Semitic jokes. Feelings of anti-Semitism have sadly been around for a long time. They are feelings of hate or anger towards people of the Jewish religion. PewDiePie has been known in the past to reference Hitler and the Nazis. However, a video he posted about a month ago has been the cause of Disney breaking ties with him.

The video featured two men holding a sign that said, "Death To All Jews." This is horrible. PewDiePie actually defended his actions and ideas that went into the making of this video. He said, "I was trying to show how crazy the modern world is, specifically some of the services available online. I picked something that seemed absurd to me — that people on Fiverr would say anything for five dollars."

Hmm…clearly this did not go over as he had planned.

Not only was PewDiePie dropped from Disney but also YouTube itself. It's being reported that YouTube has canceled the second season of his show, Scare PewDiePie. It was a premium show that cost ten dollars a month to get access to. Also, YouTube has taken him off of Google Preferred, which is an advertising service that promotes safe content.

PewDiePie is still able to post videos on his YouTube channel but just not through any kind of service. These repercussions are serious, as they should be. There's already enough hate in the world that people who have a platform to speak on shouldn't be using their voice to spread anything but love.
