Girl Meets World may have been officially canceled for good, but let us tell you – Sabrina Carpenter will be just fine. In fact, she’s totally ready to “take on the world.” One might even say she’s “on the edge of something wonderful.” OK, we’re done quoting GMW theme song lyrics now. Let’s get to the important stuff.

Just because Sabrina’s days as playing Maya Hart are over, that doesn’t mean she is working any less hard. Trust us when we say she is up to some pretty exciting things. From going on tour in the United Kingdom to kicking off her very own headlining tour, she’s quite the busy gal.

She heard her single “Thumbs” on the radio for the first time.

Sab was beyond pumped when hearing her new single from her second album EVOLution play on the radio for the first time – as were we!

“I heard thumbs on the radio in my car for the first time ever today AND I WILL NEVER GET USED TO THIS thank you so much @live1015phoenix,” she wrote alongside the video she shared on Instagram.

She reunited with the Adventures in Babysitting cast.

Nikki Hahn (AKA Emily Cooper in the DCOM) shared photos on Instagram from the adorable Easter Sunday celebration, and it seriously warmed our hearts.

She opened up about her true feelings of the GMW cancelation.

“It hasn’t changed because we’re all still so close. We were really lucky we got to do three seasons, so many shows don’t. So we were very lucky,” she told Entertainment Tonight.

Even though she’s excited to pursue her music career, Sabrina confirmed that her acting days aren’t totally behind her.

She added, “Luckily you can do both and I’m super excited to tell everybody what I’ve been up to. I can’t right now, but there’s definitely still both in the work.”

She’s reunited with the GMW cast on a number of occasions.

The fact that Sab has hung out with her Girl Meets World co-stars should come by no surprise, especially because we have already broken down every time they’ve reunited. Despite just being friends, Sabrina and Corey Fogelmanis have sparked some relationship rumors. They proved their friendship is still going strong post-GMW by recreating Sab’s “On Purpose” music video together and even holding hands.

She rocked the stage at the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards.

Just like her “Thumbs” music video, Sab’s 2017 RDMAs was subway themed. And tbh, we’re still convinced this is a nod at Maya Hart and Riley Matthew’s iconic subway scene from the first episode.

She went on tour with The Vamps.

Sab had such a blast while touring the U.K. with her pals Connor Ball, Brad Simpson, James McVey and Tristan Evans. Throughout “The Middle Of The Night Tour,” people started shipping the “On Purpose” songstress with Brad. However, she put those rumors to rest.

“We completely ignore it. For me, first of all, I didn’t know about all this. Bradley also isn’t on social media very much. I think we just try to live in reality as much as we can,” she said in an interview.

She went on her very own headlining tour, titled “DeTour.”

Alex Aiono and New Hope Club joined her on tour, and saying it was epic would be an understatement. Oh, and how could we forget? Pretty much the whole GMW cast went to see her perform.

She released a fire single, titled “Why.”

“You like New York City in the daytime…” UGH, WHAT A JAM.

She is starring in a new movie.

Sabrina will be starring in The Hate U Give, a film adaptation of the Black Lives Matter-based young adult novel. The story is about a teenage girl named Starr played by Amandla Stenberg, who witnesses a police shooting and then must testify at the trial. Sabrina will be starring as Hailey, Starr’s best friend from school.

So there you have it! Sabrina hasn’t slowed down at all since Girl Meets World wrapped. We cannot wait what else she has in store!

She’s breaking out her inner dancer.

Sabrina has given up snippets of her moves on Instagram before but now we have a high-res, full-length video of Sabs breaking out some serious choreography to her song “Why” and girl SLAYS.

She is bringing all the sass and showing off a whole new side to herself, that’s for sure!

She is gearing up for new music in 2018.

When someone on Twitter asked if they’d be surprised with a third album for Christmas, Sabrina replied saying she’s going to save that for the new year.

New music? Um, YES PLEASE.
