Sam Smith totally dissed some of his fellow singers! In a new interview with V magazine, the 22-year-old "Stay With Me" star claims that he's had pretty horrible experiences with younger artists.
While speaking with famous singer-songwriter Chaka Kahn, he said that many new stars think too highly of themselves.
"Even when you meet them — I won't name names — but some of these pop stars are just awful," he said. "And they have not even had half the success that you've had and yet you're so humble and kind."
Sam has been making a lot of controversial statements about the music industry lately. He recently dissed the X Factor for being "damaging" to artists, and now he's calling out some of his peers! It sounds like he had a really bad interaction with someone — and we're definitely curious to know who he's throwing shade at.
