You guys, it's really okay. Selena Gomez and The Weeknd don't have to do everything together to prove they are in love!
Selena documented her Super Bowl Sunday, which included friends, food, Lady Gaga and a super comfortable looking couch. The only thing missing was her rumored boyfriend, The Weeknd. The "Good For You" singer posted photos and short video clips on her Instagram story that couldn't have been more relatable. She was totally seventh-wheeling in a group of three other couples!
Selena posted this photo during the Super Bowl game and to be honest, we can't help but LOL.
Not only that but there were some other videos and photos that proved she was flying solo for the night.

While it's unclear why The Weeknd didn't attend this little party, Selena doesn't seem to look that broken up about it. The photo with her and all of the couples was obviously meant to be funny. AND she was seen smiling and laughing in the other clip. Maybe The Weeknd just doesn't really like football. Or maybe he had a prior work commitment. Whatever it was, we can squash any rumor that alludes to the fact that these two are over.
Just because Selena hung out with her friends without her boo doesn't mean anything bad is going on behind-the-scenes. Plus, they aren't even officially an item yet. The girl can have some independence and fun without her man by her side!
The Weeknd and Selena just recently returned home after a very romantic trip to Florence, Italy. This was actually the first time that they appeared on each other's Instagram accounts, which led people to believe they were making a statement about the status of their relationship.
Rumors are rumbling that the pair may walk the 2017 Grammys red carpet together, but that hasn't been confirmed either.
The only thing we do know is that Selena had a great time hanging out, watching the Super Bowl and enjoying the company of some of her besties last night!
