As one of the world’s biggest pop stars and the single most followed human on Instagram, Selena Gomez would not necessarily be classified as accessible. At least, that’s what you might think. As it turns out, Selena is all about being a friendly neighbor and dropping by random locations to simply say hi, and her latest school playground adventure is proof.
Yesterday, Selena and her assistant (and friend, obvs) Theresa Marie Mingus took a leisurely bike ride around town, and Selena insisted they ride passed a school. She might have convinced Theresa that she wouldn’t get noticed, but she sure did – and everyone was shook to the core over her spontaneous appearance. This all happened right after her breakup with The Weeknd was announced, but it is safe to say she looks like her spirits are high. On their way to the school, Selena stopped to chat with a family on the sidewalk. The singer just so happened to be playing her latest hit “Wolves” on her phone. She asked her lovely neighbor (a cute little toddler) if she was a fan of the song, and the girl sheepishly shook her head no. Selena took it well, don’t worry.
