He’s in stable condition. An ambulance was called to Simon Cowell‘s London home this morning, after he tumbled from the stairs. The X Factor judge was seen being stretchered out of his home with a neck brace on at 8 a.m.
While little is known about how injured Simon is, it is reported by TMZ that he got the injuries after heading downstairs to fetch a cup of hot milk. He reportedly woke up in the middle of the night, felt dizzy, and went downstairs for a glass of milk. He was on his way back up the stairs in his mansion, when he then fainted and fell backward.
A source told The Sun: “It’s been a scary morning. It was very early and Simon was going down his stairs to get some hot milk because he couldn’t sleep. He fainted and is thought to have fallen down the stairs. An ambulance was called and he was stretchered out of the house in a neck brace surrounded by worried aides.”
Simon is said to still be in hospital undergoing tests, including CAT scan, but is in stable condition. We’ll bring you more info as soon as we know it. Simon’s girlfriend Lauren Silverman was reportedly in New York when the incident occurred, but is flying back to London to be with her partner.
