It seems like pals Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran have been spending a lot of time together lately. So is love in the air?
More like music!
As it turns out, the country princess and British singer could very well be collaborating on a track for Taylor's next album.
The two have recently been Tweeting back and forth and on May 15, Taylor Tweeted, "Eating cheeseburgers, scribbling on guitars, writing songs with @edsheeran. :)" While Ed followed up with, "In and Out burger, defacing guitars, and writing music with @taylorswift13 :)"
Taylor was a fan of the "Gimme Love" and "Lego House" singer even before they decided to work together, and she's also rumored to have swapped numbers with Ed's number-one mate, Harry Styles!
No word yet on just what Taylor and Ed, who's close with all the guys of One Direction (and wrote their song "Moments"), are up to in the studio or if his tracks will definitely make it onto her next album, expected to be released later this year. An insider says, "[Taylor's] into her British music...There is a mutual affection between the pair."
Ed Sheeran's U.S. debut album '+' drops on June 12.
